WHAT IS TAKING LECTURER NOTES?


- Taking lecture notes means we write down every word from lecturer and read it with our own word and ideas. It can also use for our revision and preparation before the exam.



HOW TO TAKE LECTURER NOTES ?


- Become an active listener 

- Read a text assignment before class

- Identify a main idea of the text




HOW DO I PREPARE FOR CLASS ?


- Read the topic first before you enter the class

- Focus on topic that you weak

- Make some question to ask the lecturer in class.





Effective Note Taking System

• Cornell Method

If you using this method, you will easily to understand the notes lecturer gives. After the class, you can write the main ideas in the Cue column and you can write again what you have learn in the class in summary column.

• Mapping Method

Mapping method is the best way for students are lazy to read a notes and last minutes prepared. Just draw whatever you want and write the point inside the form. 

There are many kind of method you can use to write notes beside the cornell method and mapping method.

• Recite from the recall question.
